The Mission of Pegasus Special Riders Inc. is to facilitate healing and empowerment in the lives of physically, mentally and/or emotionally challenged individuals through a variety of equine assisted therapies.
What a wonderful, exciting year this has been so far! I cant believe we are more than halfway through all ready. With all the crazy weather it has been a challenge for everyone, but what troopers everyone has been! The dedication of our Volunteers, Donors, Board members and those in our community that support this fine organization, is truly amazing. Without all of you we would not get to see the smiling faces of our Riders day after day. We hope to make our group of smiling faces even bigger next year by expanding on our Veterans Program and other areas of our Facility. The events held so far this year have all had great success and we have one more event to go. The Horseshoe Ball is now fast approaching and we hope to see all of you there. Invites and RSVP’s will be hitting the mail for this last event of the year soon.
What a crazy year for the weather! If it isn’t water it is heat and now a premature cold! It sure feels like fall. The Annual Picnic was a great success and the Poker Run as well. The Pegasus sponsored Horseshow was attended by many old as well as new faces. We hope everyone that attended all of these events had a great time. We truly appreciate all the community support. Our next event is the Horseshoe Ball. We have some new offerings in the works to make it an exciting and enjoyable evening and look forward to many of the old stand bye’s to keep you entertained during this fundraiser.Again, we thank the community and all of our supporters of Pegasus Special Riders that help us in so many different ways to provide therapeutic horseback riding to our many clients.Hope to see you all at the 14 Annual Horseshoe Ball in Rochelle and at the facility!
